Art & illustration

Our design approach involves digging deep to discover the intrinsic meaning behind common forms that compose our landscapes…avoiding convention and tired solutions.  Frequently working with public artists, we fashion the landscape in a way that responds uniquely to a site's ecological, cultural and historical forces, rendering an artistic experience that invites users to reflect and participate. We also strive to keep the art of hand drawing alive.  This vital communication tool provides a more efficient design process and means to express the character of place from initial concepts through the details of built works.
